Why Choose our Erie Lawyers?
Bruce Bernard and Jim Stuczynski founded the law firm of “Bernard & Stuczynski” in 1985. Since then, we’ve grown to Bernard Stuczynski Barnett & Lager, PLLC!
Although they did a little bit of everything back then, it didn’t take Bruce and Jim long to carve out their niche and focus their law practice on Personal Injury Law and Workers’ Compensation law. In 2012, Adam Barnett joined the partnership and the firm changed its name to “Bernard Stuczynski & Barnett.” In 2017, Matt Lager became a partner and this law firm of Erie Lawyers took its current form: Bernard Stuczynski Barnett & Lager, PLLC.
We pride ourselves on our personal approach—we aren’t a personal injury “mill.” When you call our Erie, PA law office or our Smethport, PA law office, you get your attorney on the phone. When you come in for a meeting, you meet with your attorney. When you leave a message, we’ll call you back. As our client, we know you and we know your case. And we believe this is important. We don’t believe that a lawyer can do the best job for his client without a strong, open line of communication. You need to know who we are to trust us and we need to know who you are to represent you. Your whole life is affected by a serious injury; you need a lawyer who understands that.
We handle your case from start to to finish.
Our Erie, PA law firm is unique in that we can handle every facet of your injury case. We represent clients with their Car Accidents, Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation, and Social Security Disability cases. More often than you might think, a significant injury requires expertise in several or even all three of these areas at once. Rather than have three separate law firms handling each of your three cases, we do it all in-house. When you get multiple firms involved with different cases arising out of the same injury, you’re asking for someone to miss something. Moreover, when you call us with one type of injury case, we know how to recognize when you might have another case or source of recovery you didn’t even realize you had.
